We are seeking expressions of interest from new-graduates and experienced chiropractors who are team players, keen to share their knowledge and skills, and be part of this life changing experience.
In our 20th year of service to the rock-breakers and tea-pickers of West Bengal, Hands on India will be conducting an 9 day intensive program of outreach to these communities whilst immersing ourselves in the Indian culture.

Expedition 2028
For new grads & experienced chiropractors:
● Be part of a diverse team sharing your clinical
skills, knowledge and case management with
collaboration on interesting case presentations.
● Volunteer in communities that love receiving our
care and are eagerly awaiting our return. This
opportunity will remind you how chiropractic care
can really make a difference
● See and be part of the ‘real India’, full of colour,
excitement and wonderful people.
What to expect:
● Meet in Delhi for a welcome dinner..
● Fly as a group to Bagdogra and transfer to Siliguri and our home at Seva Kendra for the next 13 days
● Monday-Friday we travel daily in jeeps to clinics in tea plantations and rock breaking communities
● Friday pm - Sunday relax in luxury accommodation in the mountainous tea region of Darjeeling
● Monday - Thursday continue at clinics
● Visits to women’s groups, schools and Bollywood night
● Group returns to Delhi
● Optional side trip to Agra and the Taj Mahal (at own cost), before departing for Siliguri.
Our Hands on India team of 30 can expect to provide approximately 3000 patient visits during our stay!
Fund-raising from previous trips has allowed us to fund education in 6 schools (927 children) and supports 3000 women in Empowerment Projects across 91 villages and established health care centres in 32 rural community villages.
This year we are working to raise $200,000 to grow these programs and continue support of the community.

Predicted Costs
● Approximately $2000 (internal airfares from Delhi, accommodation, meals, transport and on ground costs)
● Minimum fundraising of $3000 per attendee towards the Seva Kendra community (donations are tax deductible). New graduates need to raise a minimum $1000
● Additional expenses -international flights, personal travel (optional pre-trip to Agra), visa, travel insurance and spending money.
